Today thousands of people make money taking paid surveys on the Internet. Most of them do not make a lot of money, but they are supplementing their income every month.
I know from personal experience that there are people earning anywhere from $100-$300 a month taking surveys online. I see this every month in the members area of Cash Crate, which is an online survey site I promote.
What is interesting to me however is how many people do not go where the real money is. Where is that?
The real money in paid survey sites is made referring new members to the program you are involved with. In my case I consistently earn $500-$1000 a month and none of that money is made taking paid surveys themselves.
I understand that some people prefer to focus just on taking paid surveys. There certainly is nothing wrong with sitting at home and getting paid for offering your opinion.
However, if you would like to step that income up a little bit referring new members is one way to do it. Many online survey sites provide a money making program where you get paid to refer new members.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind.
1. Let the new member know they should take their first survey right away. This is important because many of the companies will not pay you for your referral unless that person actually takes a survey.
It only stands to reason that when somebody new joins a survey program they are interested in taking a survey right away. To help make sure that happens, so you get paid for it, remind them to take their first survey right away so they can see if they like it or not.
2. Promote your affiliate provided website. Referring new members is really a cost per action affiliate program to make money at home. You just want the potential member to provide a little bit of information and join the program.
The best way to do that is to promote the website you are provided. Oftentimes the survey site will give you marketing materials such as text link ads, and banners to promote with.
3. Build your own website for long term marketing. I personally think this is a great idea because you can add and remove the survey programs you promote whenever you want.
Plus, when you promote your own website you are developing long-term traffic to it. Eventually you will make money every day even when you are not working.
These are several tips on making money referring new members to paid survey sites. This is a good way to increase your online income without spending time taking surveys every day yourself.
